According to a report from WABetaInfo, the upcoming WhatsApp feature will allow users to transcribe voice notes directly within the app, improving accessibility and convenience for those who prefer reading text rather than listening to voice messages.

What is the new transcription feature WhatsApp is planning to launch a new feature allowing users to select a language for voice transcriptions, which will be rolled out in an upcoming update. This feature will allow users to choose from languages ​​such as English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, and Hindi, with the option to add more languages ​​later. Once a language is selected, a corresponding package will be downloaded to facilitate the transcription process.

“This feature will ensure that users can read and understand voice notes in their preferred language. Additionally, it will improve the accuracy of transcriptions using language-specific speech recognition. It is worth noting that users will have the option to choose a different language for specific voice notes, depending on their needs,” the report adds.
