Virginia State Trooper Hit by Drunk Driver During Drunk Driving Stop, Seen on Dashcam

This all happened when Trooper C.Aziz responded to a sedan stopped in one lane on Interstate 495 Tuesday in Fairfax County…and as you can see on the trooper’s dashcam, she’s at the driver’s window trying to persuade her to get out of the vehicle or move it to the shoulder.

That’s when another vehicle hits his patrol car from behind – believed to have been a Jeep Cherokee – and you can see the trooper get hit from the front.

She’s knocked to the ground before quickly bouncing back to her feet – and you can even hear her let out a cry of pain too… the whole thing is wild. A photo was also taken of the officer’s patrol car after the impact – and it appears completely torn apart.

Aziz was reportedly taken to Fairfax INOVA Hospital for evaluation…and authorities confirm she only suffered minor injuries from the blow. The driver of the Jeep was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Meanwhile, the driver of the sedan was also arrested and faces a series of charges…driving under the influence of drugs, obstruction, possession of a schedule 1 or 2 substance, refusing to taking a breathalyzer/blood test and improperly stopping a vehicle on a highway.
