Joey Essex’s sister Frankie breaks her silence over ex’s explosive arrival in Love Island villa

Joey Essex’s sister Frankie breaks her silence over ex’s explosive arrival in Love Island villa

JOEY Essex’s sister Frankie has broken her silence over his ex-girlfriend Grace Jackson’s surprise arrival in the villa.

Essex lad Joey, 33, was left stunned last night when the blonde beauty was revealed as a new bombshell.

The two reportedly dated six weeks earlier this year before Joey called things off.

On today’s Good Morning Britain, Frankie Essex, 36, said: “I don’t know anything about her, but my partner does.”

When asked by showbiz correspondent Scarlette Douglas: “What did your partner say?”

She said, “Nothing. So thanks, Luke. I know as much as you.”

But Frankie knows that Joey wants to meet a serious partner.

She said: “Joey sees me settling down now with twins, he always asks questions ‘do they cry a lot?’, he sees me happy and settled and I think he wants that now.

“It’s hard for him to meet someone. I think when you know, you know.”

Before Grace arrived, we caught up with Joey’s cousin Frankie Sims, 29, to chat about his budding romance with Samantha Kenny, 27.

The Liverpool lass fell for the Towie legend and declared them king and queen of the villa just days after the series began.

Frankie said: “She’s the one I picked for him before he even picked anyone. I think she’s really pretty. She’s definitely his type.

“Obviously the lack of affection the last two episodes is unusual, so I don’t know if he’s just trying to go easy on her and interested in her in a mature way, or if he’s waiting for someone else to do it.”

Much has been made of Joey’s body language every time Samantha quotes a Towie quote, saying he looks visibly uncomfortable.

But Frankie thinks he wouldn’t have entertained Samantha for so long if she really was a crazy Towie superfan.

“I really don’t know if she quotes him all the time or if the editing just makes it seem like she’s a superfan,” she admitted.

“I don’t think he would be with anyone if he thought he was a superfan. I think he would jump ship pretty easily.

“So I don’t think he’s as dramatic in the villa as they make him out to be.

“He really loves her because he would have jumped ship by now, I’m sure.”

Ronnie loves to have his cake and eat it, it’s going to be even worse at Casa Amor

By Jessie Hutter

Ronnie really seems to be enjoying having his cake and eating it at the moment. So I think an environment like Casa Amor would probably exacerbate this even more.

I don’t see the connection between Ronnie and Harriet as being particularly deep or meaningful. It seems like they both enjoy this sort of secret, affectionate, hidden connection they have. I don’t think it will stand the test of time.

And I think those kinds of connections break down pretty often quickly.

I think the way things are going is a recipe for disaster. Anything born from disaster can end in disaster. So I don’t think audiences will see them as a particularly supportive couple.
