In a personal message from Kate, the princess got candid about her health battle, opening up about her good and bad days amid her “preventative chemotherapy” treatment.

The mother-of-three revealed that although her treatment will continue for several months, she will make appearances at specific royal events.

The first event Kate will attend is King Charles’ birthday parade. She will be seen alongside her children in a horse-drawn carriage before joining the royal family on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.

Kate continued: “I’m making good progress, but as anyone who goes through chemotherapy knows, there are good days and bad days. On those bad days you feel weak, tired and you have to let your body rest. But on good days, when we feel stronger, we want to make the most of our well-being.”

She went on to note that it’s “a joy” to engage in regular activities on days when she feels “well enough.”

Kate said: “My treatment is ongoing and will last for a few more months. On the days when I feel quite well, it is a joy to get involved in school life, to dedicate personal time to the things that give me strength. energy and positivity, too, like starting to do some work at home.”
