‘Deadliest Catch’ Star Dies After Shock Medical Emergency: Nick Mavar Was 59

The former sailor appeared in nearly 100 episodes of the popular reality series.

Deadliest Catch Former student Nick Mavar died of an “undisclosed medical emergency” on June 13. According to E! News, the former FV Northwestern sailor had no cause of death and an investigation into his death remains open.
