APA Hotel USA completes historic acquisition of 256-room Hilton Seattle for .8 million

The 256-room property will be renamed Hilton Seattle and will welcome guests as the Coast Seattle Downtown Hotel by APA on June 13, 2024.

(Editor’s note: The purchase price was $68.8 million, or about $268,554 per room, according to King County real estate records, and the seller was an entity affiliated with Westbrook Partners, which bought the hotel for $60.3 million, or about $252,301 per room, in 2016.)

Vancouver, British Columbia – June 13, 2024 – APA Hotel Co., Ltd. announced today that it has completed the acquisition of the Hilton Seattle, Washington, USA, through APA Hotel USA, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of APA Hotel Co. , Ltd. The property will remain under the management of Stonebridge Hospitality Management and will immediately be renamed the Coast Seattle Downtown Hotel by APA. Details regarding the terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
