JRPG-inspired turn-based adventure ‘ALZARA Radiant Echoes’ ends Kickstarter campaign with over US$300,000 and nearly 5,000 backers

Studio Camelia has announced that its 3D turn-based JRPG inspired by the classics, ALZARA Radiant Echoes, concluded its Kickstarter campaign.

In total, the project acquired $306,203 from 4,945 backers, exceeding its goal of $107,215. This campaign lasted 32 days, from May 14 to June 14, and several ambitious goals were achieved.

In particular, potential players can expect “English and Japanese voice acting, the entire OST composed by Motoi Sakuraba and recorded in the studio, four additional non-playable main characters drawn by Yoshiro Ambe, and improvements to the game such as the combat management system, Codex, skill tree improvements and new game+.

Additionally, the additional funds contributed to the completion of the secret objective, which will improve the quality of key cutscenes in the game. These scenes will also feature voice acting.

Players will explore a fantastical Mediterranean archipelago in a world on the verge of war. During combat, active heroes attack from the front ranks while then moving to support roles to recover. Additionally, elemental magic can be combined to explore enemy weaknesses, and legends can be invoked to gain favors.

Radiant echoes of ALZARA follows four heroes, including protagonist Kayla, confronted with the conflict of invasion, “where the concept of sharing becomes a moral battlefield with profound consequences.” In this adventure, players will lead the Resistance against the invading Vedorian militarist nation. The combat system is inspired by golden sun, Character, Final Fantasy X, And Lost Odyssey.
