Philomath Community Foundation Announces Fellows

The Philomath Community Foundation has awarded eight scholarships to 16 graduating seniors in the Class of 2024, the nonprofit announced.

The foundation has provided scholarships and awards to graduating students in the local school district for more than 26 years.

“We at the Philomath Community Foundation have been impressed by the quality of the applicants from the Philomath School District and look forward to seeing and hearing about the great accomplishments of these students,” said Linda Howard, vice president of the Philomath School District. administration of the Philomath Community Foundation, following the announcement of this year’s recipients. at the Philomath High School convocation on June 5.

This year’s scholarship recipients:

• Adjust Your Sails Scholarship – Nicholas Purcell
• Cody James Patterson Memorial Scholarship — Alexa Eckhold, Hayden Fuller, Simon King, Mason Stearns
• Philomath Public Schools Scholarship – Clara Stanley, Ava Theurer
• Russ Hunt Memorial Scholarship — Caleb Garcia, Case Hoch
• Philomath Community Foundation Youth Recognition Award — Phoebe Coen, Emma Maxey
• STEM+ Scholarship — Bailey Bell
• STEM Scholarship — Riven Benson, Lukas Dunn
• Terry Selby Memorial Scholarship — Jacob Peters, Caroline Pucket

The organization announced that applications for 2025 will be available from January 1.
