Bayer Leverkusen ace Florian Wirtz not ready to think about the future

Bayer Leverkusen ace Florian Wirtz is one of the most sought-after players in the world.

Although it remains doubtful whether the Germany international will move on this summer, the topic is not even close to being on his mind as he has devoted all his efforts and focus to the EURO 2024 competition.

“Everyone knows my contract. Now is not the time to talk about it. I’m having a really good time in Leverkusen and I feel good. My mind is 100% focused on the euro. Everything else doesn’t matter at the moment,” Wirtz told Sky Sport reporter Kerry Hau (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).

Wirtz’s contract ends in 2027, but he could land a nine-figure offer for Leverkusen as early as this summer. Yet the 20-year-old won’t bother thinking about any of that as long as Germany is alive in the tournament.
