Giovanni Pernice breaks the silence and denounces the “latest accusations”

Giovanni Pernice has pledged to clear his name by rejecting “the latest accusations” against him. The Italian dancer took to social media early Sunday morning to discuss “totally false stories.”

The 33-year-old also thanked his fans for their continued support during the BBC’s ongoing investigation. Giovanni – who will not appear in this year’s series of Strictly Come Dancing.

The star – who won the Glitterball Trophy with Rose Ayling-Ellis in 2019 – wrote: “Every week there are totally false stories about me in the media. As you know, I have always rejected any suggestion of abusive or threatening behavior The latest accusations are simply false. I am cooperating fully with the BBC’s ongoing investigation, which will determine the truth.

“As requested, I have remained silent, but I look forward to the conclusion of the investigation and finally clearing my name and establishing the truth. I am so happy to be back on tour. Thank you all for your continued support – your messages and love mean a lot to me I hope to see you again very soon and I look forward to clearing my name with love, Giovanni.
