Tata Punch EV range

We can get a glimpse of the interior of the Punch EV. We can spot the two-spoke steering wheel and digital instrument cluster. However, the highlight is the range of figures presented on the cluster. With a charge of 43%, the electric vehicle has a range of 156 km. If calculated at 100%, the Punch EV could have a range of around 360 km. Generally, the instrument clusters of Tata cars offer accurate range information. If the Punch EV offers this range, it could easily surpass the short-range version of the Nexon EV. While it will be quite close to the long range version of the Nexon. The new platform seems to have increased the effectiveness of the Punch EV.

What else do we know?

The Punch EV comes with a similar front design as the Nexon EV. There’s that iconic DRL all over the hood with new LED headlights. Tata has cleverly integrated the charging port behind the Tata logo. The side and rear profiles do not undergo any changes as such, except for the new alloy wheels. Tata has gone beyond expectations by offering a host of features on the Punch EV. It comes with new features such as ventilated front seats, 10.25-inch infotainment system and instrument cluster, air purifier, cruise control, Frunk storage, 6 airbags, ESP, multi-mode regeneration and an electronic parking brake with automatic hold.

Tata Punch EV – Prices

Tata will launch the Punch EV on January 17, 2024. What about the price? Tata has brought a lot of new features to the Punch EV, so we can expect a slightly higher price. We expect prices to start at Rs 13 lakh and go to Rs 18 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). In this price range, it could become the best-selling electric vehicle in the country.
