Gwyneth Paltrow leaves sweet message for Kate Middleton after princess’s reappearance

Gwyneth Paltrow sent Kate Middleton a surprise message of support after her defiant return to the spotlight for the Trooping the Color ceremony.

The Princess of Wales, 42, looked stunning as she joined the royal family for the King’s birthday celebrations on the balcony of Buckingham Palace to watch the royal flypast on Saturday.

Following his appearance at the annual event, the Prince and Princess of Wales shared a series of snaps from the ceremony on Instagram, thanking fans for “making this day one to remember.”

The sweet post, which featured an image of Princess Catherine with her family on the balcony, received a sweet note of support from the Goop founder.

“So happy to see you so happy and healthy❤️,” Paltrow wrote in the comments section.

Although the two are not known to share a friendship, Paltrow is notably close friends with Meghan Markle.

In May last year, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly enjoyed a Michelin-starred meal with Paltrow and her TV producer husband Brad Fulchuk.

The stars were joined by Cameron Diaz and her husband Benji Madden.

On Saturday, the Princess of Wales delighted her fans by appearing alongside her husband, Prince William, and King Charles, to attend the traditional military parade with her three children.

“So happy to see you so happy and healthy❤️,” Paltrow wrote in the comments section.

After the Red Arrows passed the palace, projecting the colors of the Union Jack flag behind them, Middleton and her family waved to the crowds below.

Middleton appeared at the glittering military ceremony in honor of King Charles’ birthday after announcing on Friday that she is currently well enough to attend.

In an emotional letter, the mother-of-three admitted she had “good days and bad days” and was “not out of the woods” with the illness.

“On these bad days you feel weak, tired and you need to let your body rest,” she wrote. “But on good days, when you feel stronger, you want to make the most of your well-being.

Middleton, 42, rode in a horse-drawn carriage alongside her children and husband entering the palace ahead of the parade.

She wore a white Jenny Packham dress with a black striped belt adorned with a black and white bow at the collar, topped with a white brimmed Philip Treacy hat and pearl cluster earrings.

Pinned to his dress was an Irish Guards regimental brooch, a nod to his honorary role as Colonel of the Irish Guards.

The last time Princess Kate appeared in public was on Christmas Day, shortly before a doctor discovered cancer during a planned abdominal operation in January.

The beloved royal first revealed that she was undergoing chemotherapy for an unspecified form of cancer in a pre-recorded video shared on March 22.
