Another cringe-worthy moment occurred when Biden insisted on getting the others to sing Happy Birthday to Scholz. He began to sing even though the others reminded him that they had already done so.

Everyone saw Biden walking away from the group on the ground, and Prime Minister Meloni graciously guided him back to the group.

The White House is hypersensitive these days with so much coverage for Dementia Joe. They released a wider view of the video of Biden walking toward the paratroopers. They claim he just wanted to congratulate them. White House deputy press secretary Andrew Bates blamed “artificially narrow framing to hide from viewers that he just saw a skydiving demonstration. British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak tried to come to Biden’s rescue by saying Biden was just being polite. However, this was not how the event was planned and Biden went rogue.

Sunak added: “We were supposed to stay in one place rather than go and say hello individually, because everyone wanted to try and talk to the person who was jumping with their flag.”

The press reported that Biden was too tired to attend a large dinner Thursday evening at a castle in Brindisi. He has done this before at major summits – he avoids big dinners, as he did last year in Bali during the G20.

The Biden team insisted that Biden was not tired from his busy schedule, he was meeting with Zelensky over dinner.

The White House has set Biden’s timetable. They said Biden simply didn’t have time to meet everyone there. He did not meet face-to-face with the six other G7 leaders, but he did have time to meet with the pope. His granddaughters (Hunter’s daughters) who were traveling with him also met the Pope.

Biden was among Democrats who criticized former President Trump for not being as considerate of others as they wanted him to be. No word on Biden’s performance in Italy, though.

The Biden campaign wants voters to believe that Biden has the stamina to get the job done. Perhaps he skipped meetings and focused on Meloni because he was told other world leaders would face tough elections. She doesn’t. Color me skeptical. He also had to skip meetings or activities at previous summits because he needed to rest.

The Biden team says Biden’s age is his strength and his wisdom is necessary. Even the G7 is at odds with this. Biden is seen as weak on the world stage. This puts the United States in a dangerous position.
