Trump and Biden offer very different messages for Father’s Day

Both fathers themselves, the two major party candidates for the White House took a break on Sunday to mark the weekend holiday through social media posts, but – as expected – l have done by offering very different wishes for Father’s Day.

President Joe Biden began the day by using his social media accounts to share what could reasonably be called a standard Father’s Day greeting message, offering best wishes on behalf of his family to dads across the country. country.

“Today and every day, we celebrate the fathers and father figures in our lives who guide us with their support and inspire us to be our best,” the 46th president wrote on the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.

“Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, dads and father figures who have shown us guidance, encouragement and unconditional love,” he said via his Facebook page.

Former President Donald Trump’s Father’s Day message was a little less in keeping with holiday tradition, but very much in keeping with the 45th president. Delivered as an all-caps screed via his Truth social media platform, after briefly discussing the holiday, Trump took the opportunity to denounce the alleged source of his many legal troubles, whom he apparently also wishes well.

“Happy Father’s Day to everyone, including the radical left degenerates who are rapidly moving the United States of America to third world nation status with their numerous attempts to influence our sacred justice system to break away from their will very sick and dangerous. We need strength and loyalty to our country and its wonderful constitution.
