Viewers of the Netherlands’ win over Poland on Sunday found themselves grimacing as cameras cut to Ronald Koeman picking his nose and appearing to eat whatever he found.

The Dutch coach drew comparisons to former Germany manager Joachim Low by inserting his finger into his nose before licking it.

Low has gone viral on several occasions, both for picking his nose and sniffing his hand after reaching into his pants.

And Koeman’s clip quickly gained traction after being posted on social media during the match with fans understandably disgusted.

The Dutchman is unlikely to be too worried after his side came from behind to win their opening Euro 2024 match.

Koeman’s men responded quickly, however, with Liverpool striker Gakpo managing to equalize after 29 minutes.

Nathan Ake burst in to collect a loose ball and set up Gakpo, who found the net from 22 yards with the help of a deflection for his 10th international goal.

Koeman’s men continued to dictate possession, only for Poland to come close when Nicola Zalewski saw a header saved by Brighton’s Bart Verbruggen.

As the seconds ticked away, Koeman turned towards his bench and Weghorst provided the answer when he headed Ake’s low ball back into the box just two minutes after coming on.
