Conor is in a good mood

McGregor suffered the injury ahead of the scheduled UFC 303 press conference in Dublin, Ireland. This later became the reason why he had to pull out of the card and the UFC had to cancel the main event.

Giving an update on his injury, the former two-division UFC champion insists there is nothing to worry about at this stage. More importantly, McGregor vowed to come back stronger for fans eager to see his return.

“It’s very difficult to be excluded from my planned return fight. I suffered an injury before the press conference that required more time to heal than I had. The decision to postpone the fight was not made lightly, but in consultation with my doctors, the UFC and my team. My fans and my opponent deserve me at my best for this fight and we will get there! Thank you for the messages of support, I am in a good mood and confident to come back! ☘️,” McGregor wrote on X.

On the other hand, Chandler also shared his thoughts on his current situation.

Chandler and McGregor were supposed to headline UFC 303 on June 29. With the release of “Norotious,” the main event of UFC 303 will now be a light heavyweight title rematch between reigning champion Alex Pereira and challenger Jiri Prochazka.
