Red Oak woman faces drug charge following traffic stop

(Red Oak) – A Red Oak woman was arrested on misdemeanor drug charges late Sunday evening.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said Aundrea Theresa Clay, 31, was arrested shortly after 11:15 p.m. for possession of a controlled substance, 3rd offense, a class D felony. Authorities say the arrest occurred after officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1900 block of Broadway Street in Red Oak.

Clay was taken to the Montgomery County Jail and held on $5,000 bail. The Montgomery County K-9 Unit and the Red Oak Police Department assisted the Sheriff’s Office in making the arrest.
