Michael Olise transfer update as Chelsea consider two players for ‘swap deal’

Chelsea continue to seek a deal to sign Crystal Palace star Michael Olise. The Blues have been credited with interest in signing Olise since last summer, when the club attempted to activate the £35 million release clause in his contract.

Olise remained at Selhurst Park and signed a new long-term contract with Palace. Last season, Olise shone in the Premier League with 10 goals and six assists in 19 appearances.

This has seen Olise linked with a big move to Palace, with Chelsea returning to try and bring the player to Stamford Bridge. Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool have all been linked with signing Olise in recent weeks.

And now a new report takes stock of the Blues’ determination to sign the player. According to The Sun, Chelsea are ready to offer a swap deal in a bid to convince Palace to let Olise leave the club.

It has been claimed that the Blues would be willing to include either Trevoh Chalobah or Noni Madueke in a deal to bring Olise to Stamford Bridge.

Olsie reportedly has a release clause worth £60million. However, it has been suggested that this will only apply to Champions League clubs, with the Blues expected to feature in the Europa Conference League next season.
