Meet the OK Gold All-Conference Softball Players for 2024

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – The OK Gold Conference had a strong spring on the softball field, with Wayland and GR Catholic Central winning district championships, while Cedar Springs and South Christian also won more than 20 games.

As the state tournament wraps up this weekend, it’s time for top athletes to receive their accolades after months of hard work.

OK Gold recognized its top softball players in the First Team and Honorable Mention categories, as voted on by league coaches.

Conference champion Wayland led the way with nine selections, including seven first-team players, while runner-up South Christian fielded five first-team picks and seven all-league players overall.

Wayland also has a bright future thanks to five all-conference players expected to return next year, while Cedar Springs had two sophomores and two freshmen on the all-league roster. GR Catholic Central also had two freshmen on the first team.
