“I was waiting for four to open and wow, last second cancellation!!! Over an hour to get out of the parking lot!! Next time maybe not last second!!” a person was angry with X.

“This was so unfair. The right thing to do is get a statement from her and (100) refunds,” tweeted a second.

“I’m so heartbroken, it’s a dream of mine to finally see her in concert,” wrote a third.

“I think you need a replacement band member for Stevie and a doctor traveling with older artists – the whole weekend is planned around that for a lot of money and time,” suggested a fourth.

Other spectators were upset that they had not received an email or text message about the cancellation, pointing out that there had already been spectators outside the venue.

“Apparently they decided to reschedule the party until 9am. The venue dropped the ball. This really sucks,” one person tweeted.

“They shouldn’t have let people come, park and tailgate; they should have at least emailed or texted first. The parking lots were filled to capacity with tailgaters,” they added.

The official X account for Hershey Entertainment Venues responded, clarifying that they did not cancel the 9am show.

“We have, however, updated a previously shared post earlier this morning to reflect the show update, in case viewers did not see the most recent shared post,” the venue explained.

The user then noted that the update “should have been sent via email or text message because the place we purchased the tickets from has all our information to do so.”
