Springfield Public Schools are starting to get ready. Together. Provide! campaign

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The 2024 school year is still two months away, but Missouri’s largest school district is preparing now. To help support local families, Springfield Public Schools is launching Ready. Together. Provide!

Ready. Together. Provide! is the annual campaign to collect donations of school supplies. The goal is for all SPS students to begin the year fully equipped and ready to go.

“A new school year is an exciting time for students, but it can also be costly for families, especially those with multiple school-aged children,” says Jessica Blake of SPS. “We want to help fill these gaps and ensure every student has the supplies they need to be ready for success.” »

Springfield Public Schools is expecting nearly 25,000 students for the upcoming school year. The district is asking the public to help ensure all students have supplies on the first day of school.

The goal of Ready. Together. The bid must raise $25,000. Schools where the majority of students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch will have the greatest need for donated supplies.
