Priyanka Chopra draws inspiration from Angelina Jolie for her Tony Award win

Priyanka Chopra wrote a tribute to “angel” Angelina Jolie and her daughter Vivienne at the Tony Awards.

Sunday, at Angelina’s The foreigners was nominated for 12 awards, including Best Musical Book of a Musical and Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical, as well as two nominations for Best Performance by an Actor in a lead role in a musical.

Taking to Instagram Stories, Priyanka posted a photo of the Mr. and Mrs. Smith star and her daughter Vivienne and congratulated them.

“A huge congratulations to this angel who deserves everything in life and much more! Congratulations on winning the Tony for Best Musical for The Outsiders along with multiple awards and 12 nominations!! You are a force and I am so inspired by you every day, Angelinajolie. Congratulations Vivian (sic),” she noted.

The mother-daughter duo won the trophy for producer and assistant producer of the Broadway show.

Angelina wore a dazzling teal draped dress, while her talented daughter wore a teal suit that matched her mother’s color.

For those who don’t know, Vivienne had a lawyer officially drop her father’s last name.
