LUKE LITTLER spends most of his days playing darts, with the rest mostly playing FIFA or watching football.

The 17-year-old teenage sensation revealed he is a huge football fan who loves game on his Xbox – building his own teams on Ultimate Team – while cheering for his beloved Manchester United.

But despite being up to date with the action in the Premier League, Littler is clearly not very familiar with the Scottish game.

This is evident after he failed to recognize one of the Premiership’s biggest stars last season.

Littler participated in a euros soccer quiz with a friend darts star Michael Smith, where they were both given players’ names and had to guess where they were from.

They then had to throw a dart at the map of Europe and received a point if they hit the correct country they came from.

The quiz gave them an easy start since the first one was Scotland hero Scott McTominay – and, unsurprisingly, they both guessed right and hit the nail on the head.

But things gradually became more difficult and they were both stunned when a name was called.

And it was Celtic midfielder, Matt O’Riley, with none of the darts stars having a clue who he is or where he comes from.

The name of the midfielder was read by the presenter and a photo of the midfielder in a Denmark shirt appeared on the screen.

Smith knew he didn’t stand a chance and quickly left the conversation sad: “It’s not me, snap at my buddy.”

A perplexed Littler then looked at his friend and asked, “Matt O’Riley… do you know who he is?” before Smith replied “No! »

They received a clue when the quiz revealed he was a Celtic player and said “he’s been on fire lately”.

But Littler couldn’t ignore the playmaker’s Irish-sounding name and aimed for the dartboard, narrowly. missing Ireland.

Smith had similar ideas and interjected, saying, “O’Riley…he must be Irish or Welsh.”

But the duo remained red-faced as neither Ireland nor Wales qualified for the Euro.
