DuBois Burger King attack suspect arrested and jailed – Connect FM

CLEARFIELD – The The DuBois man wanted for allegedly attacking a Burger King employee in Sandy Township last week has been arrested, arrested and jailed.

According to the Clearfield County Prosecutor’s Office, Richard Smeal, 59, was apprehended by state police in the Janesville area Tuesday afternoon.

Smeal is currently being held in the Clearfield County Jail awaiting a preliminary hearing.

Police said Smeal attacked the victim in the restaurant parking lot and demanded she give him the night’s bail money. When she refused, Smeal allegedly hit the victim in the head with his closed fists and an air gun, injuring her.
