Speaking to the US Sun, he shared his expert tips for renovating homes.

“Colorful plants and greenery can help improve your mental health and allow you to add a little nature into your home,” he said.

“Plus, plants can also help purify the air in your home. You can find cheap houseplants in many places, but Amazon is a great option.

McDonough said getting to grips with DIY paint is one of the “easiest” ways to improve the aesthetic of your home.

“If you want to improve the appearance of the interior of your property, one of the best things you can do is redecorate it,” he said.

“A new, clean entryway mat can make your home much more welcoming and welcoming to guests.”
