Brazil Children meet first responders at library event

BRAZIL, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Children at the Brazil Public Library had the opportunity Wednesday to meet the first responders who keep their community safe.

Brazilian police, firefighters and STAR ambulance were at the library for a meeting. The event was part of the library’s summer programming.

Library director Sarah Trover said there was an incredible turnout for the event, with around 75 people in attendance on Wednesday.

“We invite everyone to come, so all ages. We have these special local heroes to talk about their work and they’re also going to give the kids the opportunity to see their vehicles up close,” Trover said.
