UGC-NET Exams 2024 Canceled: Ministry of Education Announces Cancellation of UGC-NET Exams Following Prima Facie

In the latest development, the NTA (National Testing Agency) on Wednesday announced the cancellation of the UGC-NET following prima facie indications that the integrity of the exams was compromised.

In order to ensure the highest level of transparency and rigor in the examination procedure, the Ministry of Education has decided that the June 2024 UGC-NET examination will be cancelled.

“A new review will be carried out, for which information will be shared separately. Simultaneously, the case is forwarded to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for further investigation into the matter,” the ministry added.
