Mooncat collaborates with “Powerpuff Girls” on a nail polish collection

Mooncat has teamed up with Cartoon Network’s “The Powerpuff Girls” for a new nail polish collection featuring six of the brand’s best-selling Jelly Flakie polishes in character-inspired shades: pink, purple, green, red, black and blue.

The polishes, named after popular recurring characters and designs from the series — Forces of Evil, Don’t Cry, Bubbles, Blossom’s Firebreath, Chemical X, Hardcore Buttercup and The Diabolical Mojo Jojo — are made with a buildable formula that can be personalized. layered for a semi-sheer or opaque look. These formulated hairsprays are further made with a combination of multi-colored, color-changing iridescent flakes and several types of holographic glitter.

The collection will officially launch Friday at 9 a.m. ET on mooncat.com. All Jelly Flakie Mooncat x “The Powerpuff Girls” polishes will be available for purchase individually for $15 each or in a limited edition collector’s set, which will include all six polishes in addition to a set of nail art stickers on the character theme for $102.

Since Mooncat’s launch in 2021, the brand has teamed up with a number of other characters on newly inspired products and fan-favorite releases. Mooncat’s most recent partnerships include a collaboration with Disney, using the company’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and “Alice in Wonderland” imagery for a collection of standard and glossy nail polishes in bold colorways .
