Disney fans are ‘broken’ by secret message in Inside Out 2 credits

If you missed the end credits of Inside Out 2, go back and watch it again, because fans have been “broken” by a secret message that you need to see.

The best films love to tease their audiences with the possibility of an epic post-credits scene, and thanks to the MCU, Disney has recently been no exception.

Now, Pixar is taking over to do the same with Inside Out 2, which not only features two bookend-like post-credits scenes, but also a hidden message that only a few fans spotted.

On Facebook, fans expressed being “broken” by the animated film’s emotional message to its pre-teen audience, reading: “This film is dedicated to our children. We love you as you are.

“We missed it. Probably for the best because it would have broken us that day,” one comment read, while a second agreed: “I spotted this. Just the icing on the cake of the most wonderful film.

A third added: “Thank you for making me cry in public,” while a fourth said: “The end credits are always so cute.” »

Even though the message itself is hidden in Inside Out 2, there could be another layer of meaning on top of that. Eagle-eyed fans will notice that the 2015 original had a similar message in its end credits, saying: “This film is dedicated to our children.” Please don’t grow up. Never.”

While many missed the end credits message this time around, they may have also missed the post-credits scene that follows.

Before the credits begin to roll, we see Mom and Dad’s anxious emotions react to Riley’s return from ice hockey camp, where she gives little information about what happened. After the credits roll, we see Joy return to the vault to find out what Riley’s dark secret is.

The answer? When she was younger, Riley had made a hole in the carpet and didn’t want her parents to find out.

In our four-star review of Inside Out 2, we said: “Proving that Disney is back on form, this is undeniably the most successful sequel – and perhaps downright film – that the studio has had For years. Trust me…you never wanted to feel this much anxiety.

Inside Out 2 is in theaters now. You can also find other new films coming to theaters next month, as well as new streaming films.
