Jayson Tatum sure is embracing his status as an NBA champion.

Tatum posted a message on X Thursday about his experience at a golf course that day.

“Everybody at the golf course called me ‘champ’ today, I f–king loved it Can’t wait for the parade tomorrow,” Tatum wrote on X (profanity censored by LBS).

Tatum was the No. 3 overall pick by Boston in 2017 and just completed his seventh season with the team. He has been working a while toward winning a championship and finally got there. And he sure is loving it.

The Celtics’ championship parade in Boston is scheduled for Friday, which is when the team will truly feel the love from the community.

Celtics champion Al Horford said he was told there is nothing like winning a championship in Boston. Tatum is about to find that out firsthand.
