Samsung could launch Galaxy Buds 3 earphones next month. A few leaked images on the internet suggest that Samsung might take inspiration from Apple’s design philosophy. However, closer inspection suggests that Samsung may have adopted a common and popular design.

Does the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 case look familiar?

The latest iteration of Samsung’s Truly Wireless (TWS) in-ear headphones, called Galaxy Buds 3, is expected to launch soon alongside new foldables and smartwatches. Rumors and leaks about the Galaxy Buds 3 have already started arriving.

A new leak includes two images, allegedly captured by Coupang, a Korean retail website. These images would suggest that the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 already have a dedicated listing. Although the listing may be a placeholder, it contains two images of the TWS earbuds.

These images suggest that Samsung may have adopted an entirely new design for the Galaxy Buds 3. Instead of the widespread “bean” design, Samsung may have opted for a rectangular design for the case, which now has a transparent cover.

The new design is very convenient as it allows users to visually confirm whether the case contains the earbuds when not in use. Previous generations did not offer this convenience. The case now allows for better placement of the earbuds, which now slide inside their slot. Additionally, as we previously reported, each earbud appears to have a longer stem.

Some recent rumors claim that Samsung has changed the appearance and design of its headphones. However, the latest leak suggests that the company may have modified the case that contains the earbuds.

When will Samsung launch its latest TWS in-ear headphones?

The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Summer 2024 event is scheduled for July 10, 2024. The company is expected to announce a host of next-generation products. Headphones would definitely be part of the event.

If the leaked images turn out to be accurate, the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 and the case of these earbuds will surely attract a lot of attention. However, the design is not revolutionary. Several accessory manufacturers offer similar-looking products.

The new case design is quite common. Apple may have used the same thing for the first time. However, several companies have adopted the design, albeit with some slight design changes.
