Brandy leads the cast of new A24 horror film “The Front Room”

A24 brought some of the best horror in recent years and Brandy brought some of the best songs of the 90s, so what’s not to love about “The Front Room”?

The horror, from the studio that brought you “The Witch,” “Pearl” and “Talk to Me,” marks the directorial debut of Sam and Max Eggers.

Max Eggers co-wrote “The Lighthouse” with his brother Robert while Sam was a production assistant on “The Witch.” Robert Eggers’ highly anticipated “Nosferatu” is currently in post-production and stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Bill Skarsgård, Nicholas Hoult, Willem Dafoe and Lily-Rose Depp.

“The Front Room” is based on the short story of the same name by Susan Hill. According to an official newspaper, the film “tells the story of a young, newly pregnant couple who are forced to take in a sick and estranged mother-in-law.”

Kathryn Hunter, Neal Huff and Andrew Burnap join Brandy Norwood in the cast.
