Another 2025 talent reveals offer from Tar Heels

New composite five-star Niko Bundalo is now on the 2025 UNC basketball wish list, the silky Western Reserve Academy (Ohio) forward announced Friday via social media.

Bundalo is a rising 6-foot-11, 195-pound high school senior who ranks No. 24 overall, No. 8 among power forwards and No. 1 in Ohio on the 247Sports 2025 Composite. His versatility is off the charts, as he displays guard instincts and a smooth outside shot, as well as a wealth of post moves.

And he admitted Tar Heel fandom should help UNC head basketball coach Hubert Davis land the coveted fourth-stage prospect.

“One offer I really want is UNC,” Bundalo told On3’s Jamie Shaw last summer before speaking to the Chapel Hill staff. “I grew up being a fan of them…

“My mom is from Chicago. She grew up watching Michael Jordan when she came to the United States. So, watching Michael Jordan and all the documentaries and his old highlights, UNC kept coming back. So, she “I started to love UNC, and so did I, and it was the school I looked up to throughout my childhood.”

The addition of Niko Bundalo to the roster brings the number of UNC 2025 basketball bid recipients to 16, including six new targets since late May. They all remain undecided on their recruitments, and all but one, Wasatch Academy (Utah) five-star wing Isiah Harwell, have yet to knock the Tar Heels out of contention.
