Man caught on video assaulting victim in traffic in Santa Ana – New Santa Ana

An unusual attack was recorded on video around 11:15 a.m. this Thursday in W. First and Euclid streetsaccording to the SAPD.

The video sequence, posted by a witness to the Citizen application, showed a man repeatedly punching another man, who was on the ground, as vehicles sped around him.

Several witnesses called 911 to report that two men were fighting, but by the time officers arrived, both men were long gone.

Police investigators have no idea what led to the attack.

Further details about the incident are not available.

Was it road rage? Methamphetamine rage? No one knows for sure – yet.
