Tilly Ramsay ‘grateful’ to be saved after Strictly Come Dancing shock

Tilly Ramsay feels “grateful” to still be taking part in Strictly Come Dancing after finding herself dancing for the first time.

Viewers were shocked on Sunday when the Matilda and Ramsay Bunch presenter, the daughter of chef Gordon Ramsay, and her professional partner Nikita Kuzmin found themselves in the bottom two alongside Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty and Katya Jones.

Three of the four judges chose to save Tilly and Nikita, and the TV personality, who turned 20 on Monday, took to Instagram after the results show aired to express how grateful she is for continue his Strictly journey.

“What an emotional roller coaster… WOW, even though I always knew this could happen, it’s really, really hard to participate in a dance!!” she wrote on Instagram. “I’m so grateful to be here for another week and to have the opportunity to learn another dance. I’m definitely not ready to go yet!! I’m going to continue, push myself and give it my all to succeed in my next dance the best.

“Thank you @bbcstrictly for another great week. I feel very honored to be able to come back and compete again!! @nikita__kuzmin thank you again for your incredible teaching and support, I can’t wait to spend another week with you.”

She also praised her dance opponent Adam, calling him “an inspiration” and sharing that she was “so sad to see you go.”

Following her exit, the athlete wrote a lengthy Instagram post about her Strictly experience and praised Tilly.

“I’m so grateful for my time on this show, from performing in front of millions of people and the extreme challenge of learning a new routine in 3 days every week, it’s been incredible,” he added . “@tillyramsay you did amazing and I’m so happy you get to show what an amazing dancer you are again next week!”
