Justin Timberlake addressed his DWI arrest during the final stop of his tour

The summer months are great for fun and celebrations. Unfortunately, Justin Timberlake’s preseason festivities have temporarily put him in jail. Following the “What Goes Around… Comes Around” singer’s June 18 arrest for drunk driving, his attorney, Edward Burke Jr., promised the star would respond to the incident soon. This moment has arrived.

Yesterday (June 21), during Timberlake’s party The Forget Tomorrow World Tour During a stop in Chicago, Illinois, he shared a cryptic and heartfelt message about his “rough week.”

“We’ve been through ups and downs, lefts and rights,” he said. “And it’s been a tough week, but you’re here, and I’m here, and nothing can change this moment right now. I know sometimes I’m hard to love, but you continue to love me and I love you back, thank you very much.

Attendees cheered for Timberlake to show their support. But online users weren’t as understanding. On

“Stop drinking,” he said. “You’re going to get careless.”

Spears has not released any statement regarding Timberlake’s arrest. Instead, she posted an image having a cocktail while on vacation in Las Vegas.

Other JT supporters expressed concern about his health, pointing to a resurfaced clip from an early performance of the tour.

Timberlake is due in court next month.
