Jones ready to make an impact against England

Alternate captain Aaron Jones considers their upcoming match against England an important one for the team and shares his desire to win every game when he puts on the USA jersey, regardless of the opponent. The North American team will face England on June 23 in Barbados.

Summing up their T20 World Cup campaign and highlighting its importance in the rise of cricket associated with the United States, Jones shared: “I think the England match is important. Personally, every time I put on an American jersey, I want to win the game, no matter who we are playing.

“I think over the last two weeks, starting with the series win against Bangladesh, it has really and truly opened the eyes of everyone in the world, not only for American cricket, but for the associated cricket in general.”

“And then obviously beating Pakistan in the World Cup, then having a close game against India, then having a close game against South Africa. People know associate cricket is on the rise, I would say.
