Burlingame man arrested following traffic stop in Osage County Saturday afternoon

A Burlingame man is in custody on suspicion of drug activity and traffic violations following an arrest in Osage County Saturday.

According to Osage County Sheriff Chris Wells, an Osage County Sheriff’s K-9 unit initiated a traffic stop at Park Avenue and South Topeka in Burlingame just before 3:50 p.m. for a suspected traffic violation. road. During the stop, illegal narcotics were allegedly found in a vehicle driven by Brandon T. Sage, 41, of Burlingame.

Sage was arrested on suspicion of distribution of methamphetamine and driving with a suspended license. Sage was taken to the Osage County Jail where he remains until his last word.

Formal charges are pending.
