Pig Room Podcast EP 9 – Chloé

Attack Editor Eric Brünjes is joined by Chloé to discuss her 20+ years as a DJ/producer, her A/V project SloMo, and how to construct a live set.

Chloé’s relationship with sound has long been associated with exploration and ideation. In a career that spans over 20 years, she has evolved from her earliest incarnation as a DJ/producer to an architect of cathartic audio and visual experiences.

Her projects are wide-ranging, crossing the worlds of art, music and cinema, a journey that led to the birth of her concept SloMo A/V in 2015. With SloMo A/V, Chloé collaborates with the Parisian artistic director Dune Lunel. and Adrien Godin, former student of ECV Digital. It combines ambient soundscapes with an amorphous background of abstract and geographical images.

Throughout each performance, Chloé uses a range of equipment to continuously reprocess, break down and remix the music, producing a range of impressionistic ambient textures which project from a screen behind her.

SloMo A/V is now available for purchase for the first time in its decade-long history. A nearly complete set, released for the limited vinyl run, is available in vinyl and digital formats.
