M’sians shocked to find RM12 buns with jam only on the edges to fool customers

As food prices become increasingly expensive, Malaysians expect value for money when spending their hard-earned money at food vendors.

Unfortunately, not all providers give their customers value for money.

Netizen @alisssfd89 took to his TikTok page to show how a local vendor would cheat his customers as the set of buns he bought from the vendor for RM12 only had jam on the edges (to make the buns look like they are filled with jam).

In his video, @alisssfd89’s friends presented the buns to the camera, where you could see the jam coming out.

However, upon opening it, it turns out that the jam was only spread on the edge, with a tiny amount of cream inside.

“Surprise, dammit!” » he said, laughing at the revelation. “What kind of bun is this, Adui. This is cheating.”

His friend could also be heard saying that the buns cost RM12. All the buns in the set had the same filling, a little jam on the edges and a tiny amount of cream inside.

Jam 3

“They have deceived us with our eyes, but they cannot deceive our mouth. »
