Huntsville PD Offers Registration for Security Camera Sharing Program

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) is offering the public the opportunity to register their security cameras with the department.

According to HPD, the security camera sharing program allows citizens, businesses and government entities to voluntarily register their public or outdoor cameras with the Huntsville Police Department.

The sharing program will allow the public to share videos with officers and investigators who respond to and investigate safety concerns.

Once the registration process is complete, a registration sticker will be mailed to the registered party and must be placed in a prominent location or near the main entrance to your residence or business.
