Set up the game in Pip My Dice, a Balatro-inspired Yahtzee roguelike experience

A Yahtzee Roguelike experience? This is going to be a thing. FokazLabs recently unveiled Pip My Dice and the idea seems quite interesting.

They hope, in a way, to reproduce what Balatro did for poker, by taking direct inspiration from it. Giving you the ability to customize different dice and use them with powerful relics to beat high scores and climb the leaderboard.

Check out the first trailer:

As the developer says: “Although very easy to learn and playable with only the mouse, you will need to understand the symbiosis between the different elements of the game to get there.”

You will need to take your time to evaluate which dice you need to reroll to get the best combinations. Giving you infinite replayability, with each game being different from the last, and you will also be able to save and replay your favorite seeds and share the ones you liked the most.

Features:

  • Climb the leaderboard with ranked or random races to compete with the world or your friends!
  • Choose from over 10 different starter decks.
  • Over 15 different dice modifiers with unique effects.
  • Over 100 relics to create insane combos.
  • More than 10 different bosses to defeat.
  • Improve your suit slots as the race progresses.
  • Save your favorite seeds to replay and share with your friends.

Going by SteamDB, the developer recently updated it to also note Linux support.

You can follow it on Steam.
