FULL TOUR: Experience a 2024 Standard Room at Port Orleans Riverside at Disney World

Don’t you just love staying on Disney World property?

And you have plenty of options. Will you choose a luxury, moderate or budget hotel? They all have their own unique theme, and you are truly going to have a great experience in each of them. But let’s focus on one hotel in particular: Disney’s Port Orleans Resort Riverside, and see what you can expect in one of their standard rooms!

We love Port Orleans and think it’s a great hotel considering the amenities you get for the price. If you’ve been to Fort Wilderness, you may find that this resort has a similar feeling, like it’s an outdoor getaway with so much to do. This is considered a moderate resort, meaning prices will fall somewhere in the middle of the Disney hotel collection. Of course, the price will vary depending on group size, date, and room type, but most moderate rooms range from $300 to $400 per night.

Now, let’s change the subject and take a tour of one of the resort’s standard rooms!

As soon as you enter the room, you will notice a table and chairs, a TV stand and a television mounted on the wall, two beds and the entrance to the bathroom.

Behind you you can find that there is a fire safety plate on the door.

Immediately to the right of the door you will find the only window in the room and in Air conditioning unit below. The window also has a blackout curtain.

To the left of the AC unit, there is a trash and recycling bin.

Next to it you will find the table and two chairs. Above the table is a mirror on the wall.

To the left of the table you will find a TV stand and a wall-mounted TV.

The top of the TV stand is where you’ll find your cooler And Coffee machine.

The left side of the TV stand is where you will find your mini fridge.

THE right side drawers open so you can fill in everything you need.

Continuing to the left you will find practical hooks to hang whatever you want.

Under the brackets you will find a bench.

This brings us to bathroom! It features a curtain that can be opened or closed for privacy, and it features Princess Tiana!

Immediately to your right in the bathroom is a closet corner where you can hang your clothes. This is also where you will find your extra pillows.

Tucked away in the corner of the closet, you’ll find your safe in room.

Before you is the vanitywhich has plenty of storage space for your personal items.

Under the vanity you will find a hairdryer and extra toilet paper.

On the left side of the bathroom is the washroomwhich has another door that can be locked.

Additionally, the door features a full-length mirror:

The dresser itself is on the right side of the room.

Directly in front of you is the bath/shower.

It’s a great showerhead.

Here is where you will find the Disney Hair Care and Body Wash Products!

Under the products you will find a bench in the shower to store your shampoo and other bath products.

Above the washroom you will find more towels.

It’s time to continue into the main room (which when we face the bathroom) we have both queen beds.

Each bedroom can comfortably accommodate four people, and some rooms also offer a fifth bed.

There is plenty of space under the beds for your luggage.

Each the headboard has a unique artwork above!

Between the beds you will find a bedside table with the resort phone and Hey, Disney! You will also find the leaflet explaining what the digital assistant is. (Plus, if you don’t want it in the room, you can unplug it!)

To the left of the beds is the door to next room.

And that’s the piece! There is plenty of space for four people.
