Pat McAfee insists Travis Kelce draws inspiration from his girlfriend Taylor Swift’s success to succeed in his field.

The high-profile couple sent fans into a frenzy on Sunday when Kelce, 34, dressed up and joined Swift on stage during her Eras Tour performance at Wembley Stadium.

After one of McAfee’s panelists suggested the tight end was about to do his “last dance” this upcoming season, the host explained how Kelce was motivated by Swift’s notoriety.

“I think Taylor motivates him to keep going,” McAfee said. “I think he watches her do her thing, and he goes, ‘Holy shit, she’s selling out stadiums in every city all over the world, she’s still making bangers, she’s involved in everything.’

“He’s probably thinking, ‘Yeah, that’s exactly the person I need to be with,'” McAfee continued.

“Because you know they say you’re the company you keep.” And the company he runs is taking over the world, pretty much, in an industry that I don’t think it was supposed to take over as quickly as it certainly has.

The three-time Super Bowl champion is coming off back-to-back titles and is on his way to a third straight ring. McAfee also pointed out that Kelce just signed a two-year extension with the Chiefs.

McAfee has long been at the center of the Kelce-Swift romance, applauding the NFL star for supporting the 14-time Grammy winner and vice versa.

“Again…I can’t help but feel a phenomenal sense of pride,” McAfee wrote of Kelce’s appearance on Swift’s show. “None of the other bums Taylor has been with would ever be this prepared and composed in front of 90,000 people wearing this costume.”

During Monday’s segment, McAfee continued to gush about how the relationship affects both of their careers, especially Kelce’s. He also gushed that the couple was “internet official” after Swift posted about Kelce after the performance.

“So I think he’s inspired by that. I think he wants to be great. I think every time he puts on that goofy costume, the costume…did you see how good he looked in that thing?’

“They are both fantastic. They both crush it. Congratulations to Trav and Taylor – I think they’re internet official. Taylor posted a few (of) photos with him.
