Kansas AG stops Biden’s second student loan forgiveness plan – Newstalk KZRG

TOPEKA — Today, Kansas obtained a nationwide preliminary injunction stopping the latest version of President Biden’s student loan forgiveness program. The order blocks the Biden administration from canceling student loans under its latest regulations, which were set to take effect July 1.

The Biden administration is trying to usurp the authority of Congress. This is not only unconstitutional, it is unfair. Blue-collar workers in Kansas who didn’t go to college shouldn’t have to pay off the student loans of New Yorkers with degrees in gender studies.

Judge Daniel Crabtree, a U.S. district judge appointed by President Obama, issued the ruling.
