Grace de Monaco launches a collection of sunglasses inspired by Princess Grace

The luxury house Grace of Monaco has unveiled a collection of sunglasses that pays homage to the timeless style of Princess Grace of Monaco, born Grace Kelly.

The collection features eight silhouettes, including women’s, men’s and unisex frames, launched with a campaign captured by Howell Thomas Conant, Sr., an American fashion photographer known for his portraits of Princess Grace.

All proceeds from the collection will be donated to the Princess Grace Foundation-USA, which provides grants to emerging artists in theater, dance and film.

“When your muse is someone as timeless as Princess Grace, there is no shortage of iconic moments to draw inspiration from,” said Claudia Poccia, managing director of Grace of Monaco.

“It was only natural that the Grace brand of Monaco would expand our house with this new line of sunglasses. The collection is an inspired and modern version of what Princess Grace herself may have worn today and invites those who the door to embody its iconic spirit for themselves.”

The line features the Drama collection, featuring frames named after characters played by the American actress or her famous co-star Cary Grant. These creations reflect the multifaceted personalities she embodied, each frame exuding sophistication and charm.

Made in Italy by a third-generation family business, the frames are made from sustainably sourced plant-based acetate. They feature a lightweight construction with 100% UV protection and are equipped with polarized, anti-glare and scratch-resistant lenses.

Meanwhile, the Grand Prix collection, inspired by the iconic Monte Carlo Grand Prix circuit, features metal frames, named after the course’s famous corners. Handmade in Italy from recycled metal, these frames feature a hypoallergenic coating and 100% UV protection, with each pair hand-brushed.
