Man dead after pickup truck hits utility pole and catches fire in Baker County

BAKER COUNTY, Florida. – A man died after his pickup truck struck a utility pole and caught fire in Baker County Monday evening, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Authorities said on June 24 around 11 p.m., a white pickup truck was heading north on CR-125.

According to reports, for unknown reasons, the truck left the road, causing it to spin and overturn.

The driver died instantly.
