Family Feud host Steve Harvey mocks contestant for making mistake on show and ‘walking away’ before ending match

STEVE Harvey hilariously mocked a contestant for making a major mistake during a recent episode of Family Feud.

The Wood and Parven families competed on Tuesday, with Michelle Parven taking center stage alongside the show’s host for one round.

Steve, 66, asked Michelle a series of quick questions, getting all of her answers before checking the board.

Before they could confirm which of her answers were on the list, Michelle returned to where the rest of her family was standing.

Steve froze where he stood, his face blank and his arm raised where Michelle was supposed to be standing.

Her family screamed, trying to correct her course and get her back to where she was supposed to be.

Michelle laughed as she turned around and returned to her spot next to the Family Feud host.

The audience burst into laughter and applause.

“Sorry,” Michelle said, holding back her laughter.

Steve kept a stern look on his face.

“You leave whenever you want,” he joked.

Steve, who has a background in comedy, never shy away from an opportunity to have fun with the contestants.

He has trouble restraining himself from speaking his mind when someone makes a mistake.

During Monday’s episode of Family Feud, he mocked a player after his wife revealed one of his “big secrets” on the game show.

The Family Feud host asked Marleen Darden, “What does your husband do when he runs out of clean underwear?” »

Marleen shouted, “He’s wearing one of mine!” and burst out laughing.

Her husband, Terry, stood stunned next to her, shaking his head and staring at the floor as the audience laughed.

Steve tried to hold back his smile.

“Terry,” he said wearily.

“Steve…” he replied.

“Terry, you know when your friends at work see that…” Steve joked.

He imitated Marleen’s shocking response by shouting, “He’s wearing one of mine! I mean, she couldn’t take it out without laughing!”

The game show host leaned against the podium while laughing with Marleen and audience members.

“Well, you just put your husband there,” he said.

Steve finally gave “He’s wearing a pair of her (underwear)” as an answer on the board, which triggered a beep, signaling an incorrect answer.

The comedian then asked Terry the same question.

“Steve – he washes them,” he replied pointedly.

Steve patted him on the shoulder and laughed.

“He washes them,” Terry added sternly as his wife laughed next to him.

The viral clip from a May 2013 episode was reposted on the official Family Feud Instagram and re-posted over the weekend.

Fans laughed at the breathtaking moment.

“Yeah – NO… clear grounds for immediate divorce,” one person joked.

“His wife wasn’t lying… (laughing face emoji), it shows,” added another.

“Yeah, the husbands face says, ‘Girl, why are you telling them that, now the whole nation knows my secret,'” a third person agreed.

HARVEY OUT

Steve is used to awkward moments on Family Feud at this point.

Last week, he threatened to quit his hosting role over a player’s “ignorant” response.

During the episode, he asked the Kindell family, “Name something a stingy person could use their earwax for.” »

Mo, a player on the team, replied confidently, “To brush your teeth, Steve.” »

Steve stepped back and looked at the audience in shock as he said, “Let me explain something, okay? If this is here, I’m going to stop.”

The answer was not on the board.
