Woman looks out window, shocked to see unusual neighbor moving in next door

A North Carolina woman shocked the Internet after revealing that new neighbors moved into their home just 10 feet from her house and they definitely weren’t who she expected.

In a video shared Thursday on TikTok by @lindsay.eager, the poster can be heard saying, “he’s digging a hole under a tree,” while a huge brown bear in the clip feels at home, a little too close to be comfortable. .

“Oh, my God. He makes a bed! He just made a damn bed under our tree, by our back door, which is right there,” she says as the bear struggles to get more comfortable. comfortable.

One caption reads: “The moment you realize they are settling into their new ‘home’ 10 feet from the door you use to enter your house!”

Although bear attacks are rare, they can and do happen, so you should exercise caution around them. An article published by WebMD explains that if a bear has noticed you and seems interested, there are things you can do to defuse the situation.

The first thing to do is to stay calm. Do not run away, as this could make the bear think you are prey. If you are in a group, gather everyone together and collect any young children.

You can try talking calmly to the bear so it knows you are human and back away slowly, trying to avoid unnecessary interaction.

“If the bear begins to approach you, make yourself as tall as possible by stretching your arms above your head and making noise,” the website explains.

If the bear charges you and you have bear spray (and know how to use it), do so to deter it.

The video quickly went viral on TikTok, garnering 1 million views and 87,100 likes on the platform so far.
