Sir Roger Moore’s grave was ‘vandalised’ after an adoring fan who visited the grave noticed that the large shield depicting Moore’s family crest had been torn down, leaving him naked.

The James Bond actor died in 2017 aged 89 after a “short but courageous battle with prostate cancer” – buried in an intimate and exclusive cemetery in La Colle, Monaco.


A fan of his work recently visited the Monaco Cemetery and attempted to find the late 007 actor’s resting place by searching for a large family crest that marked the headstone.

However, the man found the grave and discovered that the shield representing the star’s family “was torn off”, leaving them “both shocked and angry that someone would do something like that”.

According to The Mirror, local authorities and the cemetery itself had no idea about the apparent crime, with both parties telling TMZ that no one had “reported the vandalism” until now.
